The 2027 CPD Term runs 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. Report your hours to your regulator before the deadline.
Bundles
One purchase, a set number of hours
A bundle is the most economical way to cover a lot of hours at once. Every bundle includes its own Professionalism hour, except tiers 4-A and 4-B.
One bundle is registered to one account. A second bundle needs a different email address, or buy the courses you need individually.

Why C.D.E.S.
Approved, taught by practitioners, built for the deadline
Approved where it counts
C.D.E.S. is a CICC Approved CPD Provider and an LSBC Approved CPD Provider. Each law society sets its own rule on what counts toward its requirement, so confirm eligibility with your own regulator before you rely on a course.
Taught by people in practice
Sessions are delivered by designated C.D.E.S. educators who hold RCIC, RCIC-IRB and other professional credentials and work in the field they teach.
Live, then on demand
Attend live and put questions to the speaker, or watch the recording later. Both formats carry equal CPD credit value.
Serving RCICs, RISIAs, lawyers and paralegals since 2019. C.D.E.S. is a federally registered Canadian not for profit organisation, established in 2015.
Your requirement
How many hours do you need
If you are an RCIC
16 hours each CPD Term, and one of them must relate to professionalism or the Code of Professional Conduct.
If you are a RISIA
6 hours each CPD Term, and one of them must relate to professionalism or the Code of Professional Conduct.
If you are a lawyer or paralegal
12 hours a calendar year. The Law Society of British Columbia requires at least two in professional responsibility and ethics, client care or practice management. The Law Society of Ontario requires at least three on professional responsibility, legal ethics or practice management.
Figures are the regulators' own, summarised. Full detail with section numbers is on our CPD requirements reference page. Where anything here differs from a regulator's document, the regulator governs.
