Terms, Conditions and Procedures

The Registration Process

Registering with CDES is simple and streamlined:

  1. Select: Choose your course or program from the desired category.

  2. Register: Complete the online form and process your payment.

  3. Confirm: Receive instant instructions via email (please check your inbox and spam folders).

  4. Access: Log in to the program and claim your CPD credits with your regulator.

Note: No pre-registration or membership is required. Your online profile is automatically created during your first registration. You may access this profile 24/7.

Payments & Professional Information

  • Online Only: We do not accept registrations or payments at the door. All transactions must be completed securely via our website.

  • Required Info: Licensed professionals should have their regulatory ID (e.g., CICC, LSO, LSBC, CPA) and credit card ready to complete the process.

  • Accuracy: It is the registrant’s responsibility to provide accurate contact details. CDES is not responsible for access issues resulting from incorrect information provided during checkout.

  • Fees: CDES reserves the right to change fees or close registrations at any time without prior notice.

Annual Record & Profile Retention Policy

To maintain system integrity and data privacy, CDES operates on an annual reset cycle:

  • Cycle Dates: We retain records for the current reporting year (July 1 through June 30).

  • Automatic Deletion: All profiles, registration records, and invoices are automatically deleted or archived by July 15 each year.

  • New Profiles: If you wish to purchase a program for a new reporting year, you must create a new profile. Previous credentials will not work once the annual purge is complete.

  • Backup: Registrants are encouraged to download and save all invoices and certificates before June 30.

CPD Bundle Programs

  • All-Inclusive: The bundle price covers all CPD events listed within that specific program. No additional individual registrations are required.

  • No Prorating: Bundle pricing is fixed and will not be prorated regardless of the registration date.

  • Hard Deadline: All bundle access ends on June 30, regardless of when you registered. For example, a registration made on June 1st will still expire on June 30th of that same year.

  • No Refunds: There are no refunds or exchanges for Bundle Programs once access instructions have been delivered.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Live Webinars: Cancellation requests must be submitted via email at least three business days prior to the live event. A $25 administration fee applies to all approved refunds.

  • Late Cancellations: Requests made within 24 hours of a live event start time are non-refundable. If you miss a live session, CDES will provide access to the video recording (if available) at no extra cost.

  • Video/On-Demand: There are no refunds or exchanges for any course delivered in video format once the registration is complete.

Format & Technical Requirements

  • Live Webinars: Broadcast at the specific date and time listed. Please verify your local time zone before registering.

  • Video Recordings: Available for online viewing shortly after the live event.

  • System Requirements: Registrants must have a stable high-speed internet connection (DSL/Fiber) and a computer or mobile device (Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android) less than five years old.

  • CICC Validity: Per CICC (formerly ICCRC) guidelines, video CPD recordings are valid for up to 12 months from the original date of the live event (or as specified by the regulator). You must watch the recording before the stated expiry date.

Intellectual Property & Compliance

  • Personal Use Only: All CDES materials and recordings are for the professional development of the paid registrant only. Any unauthorized distribution, sharing, or duplication is strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of access.

  • Credit Submission: If a course is eligible for hours, the registrant is solely responsible for submitting credit requests directly to their regulatory body (CICC, LSO, etc.) in accordance with current policies.
